Blake is a Principal at Point380 leading the Strategy & Reporting practice. He leads clients through the development of sustainability strategies that are central to a company’s mission and supported by a rigorous assessment of the value delivered in terms of cost avoidance, risk mitigation, and brand enhancement.

Blake has extensive experience leading complex sustainability projects, including: energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategy; carbon footprinting and environmental impacts analysis; scarce resource and recycling strategy; and environmental sustainability performance assessment. His work includes incorporating externalities and other sustainability-related impacts (on inputs such as energy, carbon, and resource prices) into financial analysis and business decision tools. He has developed innovative techniques to estimate environmental impacts throughout a company’s value chain to surface risk mitigation and cost saving opportunities. In addition, Blake works with clients to develop communications strategies around their sustainability initiatives and has supported numerous Carbon Disclosure Project responses that were awarded inclusion in the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index.

Blake led the team that won the 2012 Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) award for Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year for the Best Global Green Brands (BGGB) performance methodology development. The BGGB methodology synthesizes data across 83 performance metrics to provide a detailed assessment of companies’ environmental sustainability performance with respect to Governance, Stakeholder Engagement, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, and Products & Services.

Blake was awarded a BA with Honors from Swarthmore College with a major in Economics and minors in Political Science and History.
